We are pleased that our colleague from the Karlsruher Institute of Technology represented the MALEG project at this year’s Praxisforum Geothermie.Bayern.
The forum served as a central platform for practice-oriented exchange on deep geothermal energy in Bavaria – bringing together experts from operations, industry, business, politics, and academia.
The presentation entitled “MALEG – Machine Learning for Hydrochemistry” provided current insights into the latest developments of the MALEG concept. It showcased the entire development process — from sampling hydrochemical data at the power plant, to conducting experiments at the demonstrator, modelling with the digital twin, and finally developing and integrating AI-based solutions. In doing so, the presentation contributed to the ongoing discussion on innovative approaches in geothermal energy.
